Ovarian Follicle Tracking

This is done in both natural and stimulated cycles as part of infertility treatment.

To show if the ovaries are functioning with or without artificial stimulation (fertility drugs).

  With this scan we can :-

• Track size of the follicles in the ovary, over several  days to predict timing of ovulation. (To advise you of the optimal  time for conception).
• Measure the thickness of the womb lining. This gives an indication of egg quality and likelihood of a successful  pregnancy.
